JET NOIRE was born out of Mya's core belief in the seamless fusion between fashion & identity. When you get dressed every morning your outfit reflects the time and place you’re in at that moment. It’s an opportunity to show the world how you’re coming.
An up-and-coming fashion designer, Mya is known for empowering women to express their identities authentically through fashion. She is a huge believer that fashion & identity are blended. Just like any other art form, fashion can be shaped to reflect emotions.
Growing up, Mya’s outfit choices often stood out from others. She quickly realized that it wasn’t normal to try and customize private school uniforms. It wasn’t normal for the stylist to allow you to change your outfit at shoots. Little by little she began to take note of her love for fashion. Eventually, she knew it was time for her voice to be heard and the rest is history
